Economic Benefits

Regional Employment

We are proud to have exceeded our target of 20% local employment during construction of the solar farm at Western Downs Green Power Hub. At the peak of construction, the project created over 450 jobs for the region. This was achieved in collaboration with our project partner, Sterling & Wilson, as well as a range of local suppliers & contractors. Some of them included:
  • Intura
  • CPP
  • Shadforth
  • HCB
  • SSQ
  • AEC
  • GCO
  • CTC
  • T2 Energy
We thank the Western Downs Regional Council, Chinchilla Community Commerce & Industry, local businesses & the communities of Chinchilla, Dalby and Toowoomba for their ongoing support.
