TWO NEW VIRTUAL BATTERY CONTRACTS

Neoen has signed two new contracts on Western Downs Battery with energy retailers, Nectr and Smartest Energy!

  • Stages 2 & 3 of the battery will deliver up to 2-hours and 4-hours of capacity services respectively to Nectr
  • Stage 3 of the battery will deliver up to 4-hours of capacity services to Smartest Energy

We also have virtual battery agreements on this project with AGL Energy, Shell Energy, and ENGIE AU.

We are thrilled to deliver these tailored services, repeatedly demonstrating the critical role of storage in the energy transition.

Construction of Stage 3 is progressing well and is on track. Site works continue ahead of deliveries to site commencing for the Tesla Megapack 2XL units in the second half of the year.
